Poco is Moving: Global and UK Websites Closing Soon—What You Need to Know!

Poco has announced that it will be shutting down its global and UK websites, effective December 31, 2024. This decision is part of a broader operational strategy to integrate its services into Xiaomi’s ecosystem. Beginning October 21, users will no longer be able to make purchases on Poco’s websites, and loyalty programs such as Poco Points and coupons will be moved to Xiaomi’s platform. Customer orders, reviews, and tracking information will be automatically transferred to ensure a smooth transition. However, the standalone Poco Store app will not be included in this migration and will stop functioning after the websites close.

The company has released a public notice on its global and UK sites indicating that both domains will be deactivated on December 31. These domains will be redirected to Mi.com. Poco has reassured customers that support will continue through Xiaomi’s service centers and other channels. Customers in the UK are advised to reach out via social media for service-related questions, while global customers can utilize Xiaomi’s expanded network of local service centers for assistance.

Poco stated that this change aims to centralize resources and improve operational efficiency, allowing the brand to concentrate on its product offerings and software development. The notice also underscores Poco’s commitment to providing high-quality products and services despite the website closures.

According to Poco, its social media channels will serve as the main source for updates and essential information. This change is not expected to have a significant impact on users. For those in India, the existing Poco Indian domain will continue to be operational.

After the website closure on December 31, users trying to access the sites will be redirected to the appropriate pages on Xiaomi’s platform. The standalone Poco Store app will not be part of this transition and will cease to work following the website shutdown.
