Foodmandu : No Minimum Order and Reduced Delivery Fees

Last Updated on by ICT BYTE

In a move aimed at increasing convenience and catering to the diverse tastes of its customers, Foodmandu, Nepal’s pioneering and most beloved food delivery company, has announced the elimination of its minimum order value policy and a significant reduction in delivery fees.

Gone are the days when consumers were restricted by a minimum order value of Rs. 500. Now, Foodmandu customers can place orders of any size, even below Rs. 500, without worry, as a nominal small order fee of just Rs. 50 will apply to smaller orders. This change comes as a direct response to valuable customer feedback and the ever-evolving dynamics of the market, granting customers the freedom to enjoy their preferred meals without constraints.

Furthermore, Foodmandu is introducing a revamped delivery fee structure. For deliveries within a 1.5-kilometer radius, the delivery charge is a mere Rs. 25. Beyond this distance, an additional charge of Rs. 25 per kilometer will be applied. For instance, if the delivery distance is 3.5 kilometers, the delivery charge will amount to Rs. 75 (Rs. 25 + Rs. 25*2). However, for orders exceeding Rs. 1000, the maximum delivery charge will remain at Rs. 75, even for longer distances.

Commenting on these changes, Mr. Manohar Adhikari, Founder and MD of Foodmandu, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are excited to announce that we have removed the Rs. 500 minimum order policy and reduced delivery fees in alignment with our mission to make food delivery accessible and convenient for all. It’s a direct response to our valuable consumers’ feedback and their evolving preferences. We are always committed to consumer satisfaction, and these changes reflect our dedication to providing affordable, convenient, and accessible food delivery services to every Nepali consumer. With the removal of the minimum order requirement and reduced delivery fees, customers can explore an even broader selection of dishes without worrying about order size constraints or excessive charges.”

Foodmandu firmly believes that good food should be within reach for everyone, and these changes underscore their ongoing commitment to turning this vision into reality. The company is enthusiastic about serving its customers better than ever before. Foodmandu has consistently striven to simplify online food ordering, and this latest move demonstrates its unwavering dedication to that mission. Now, consumers can order freely, whether they’re craving a quick snack, a light meal, or a hearty feast, knowing that Foodmandu has their culinary desires covered.
