Now you can run android apps from your phone in your Windows PC, all because of the new updates on the Your Phone app. This update could help in multitasking.

In August at the Samsung unpacked event the update was announced. The app also lets android apps to be pinned to the Start menu or Taskbar of the Windows. The app will open in a separate window from Your Phone app which is the same way you would open on your phone. For now, this update is available for Samsung Phones only.

What are the requirements?

The requirements to use the feature are:

  • Samsung Galaxy phone
  • PC with windows 10( October 10, 2019, or later)
  • Latest updated Your Phone app & link to windows
  • Phone with Android 9.0 or greater
  • Phone with windows integration link
  • The PC and mobile should be connected to the same WI-FI network

How to run Android apps on a PC?

If you have all the features listed above then connect your PC and your Phone to same network then:

  1. Open Your Phone in your PC by searching it in the start menu
  2. Your Phone app window will be seen on PC
  3. Setup and link your phone
  4. Click the apps from the menu which is at the left then you will see the list of apps
  5. Select the app you want to open and it will open in another separate window

  • Single Click: Same as PC
  • Right Click: Navigate to the previous page
  • Click & hold: Same as PC
  • Click+ hold+drag: To select content
  • Mouse scroll: Move between pages
