As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, it has affected many sectors including the education sector. So, Ncell has come up with Ncell’s Special offer to Students under HISSAN. This will help students and teachers cope with this situation. Since going to colleges is not an option during these difficult times, most colleges have opted to conduct online classes. However, internet services and data packs seem to be costly for conducting online classes. So, to address this issue, Ncell and Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools’ Association Nepal (HISSAN), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Details of the MoU
They signed the MoU to use Ncell’s mobile connectivity for online teaching and learning activities. According to the MoU, Ncell will provide a special monthly offer to deliver the required services at a subsidized rate. They will provide SIM bundled with multiple services. These services include SIM, voice, data, and SMS service, among others.
Ncell’s Special offer to Students under HISSAN
- Ncell will provide students with a SIM card bundled with 20GB of data. Ncell provided this data bundle to help students participate in online classes. The students can use this data for applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
- every day 120 minutes talk time for the call within CUG (closed user group) numbers
- 50 min on-net talk time,
- 1GB 3G/4G data,
- 2GB 4G data
- 50 on-net SMS per month
This offer costs just Rs. 250 per month excluding taxes.

How to get Ncell’s Special offer to Students under HISSAN?
According to the MoU, you need to present a recommendation letter of HISSAN to provide the offer. SIM cards can be bought under the ownership of individual students or the institution itself.
