Android 13 vs. iOS 16: Adoption Rates:


Naturally, mobile users are inclined to use the latest OS update available to them. However, in terms of adoption rates, Android seems to lag behind iOS this year. According to recent reports from both companies, it is evident that a smaller percentage of users have upgraded to Android 13 compared to iOS 16.

iOS 16 Adoption:


Apple claims that a staggering 81 percent of all iPhones currently in use have embraced the iOS 16 update. Considering that there are more than 1.8 billion Apple device users worldwide, this means that approximately 1.458 billion devices globally have successfully updated to iOS 16, enjoying its latest features and enhancements.

Android 13 Adoption:


In contrast, Google reports that only about 15 percent of Android users have updated to Android 13. As of June, the adoption rate for Android 13 stands at a mere 14.7 percent. Interestingly, it’s worth noting that a higher percentage of users, 23.1 percent to be precise, have already upgraded to Android 11, a previous version of the OS.
