As of the English New Year 2023, the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has made it possible to obtain copies of vehicle documents online.
This service was launched to make it easier and more convenient for customers to obtain copies of lost documents, such as driver’s licenses and vehicle registration books.
To use this service, customers must fill out an online form with a copy of their identity card on the traffic police’s official website. After submitting the form, the recommendations for lost documents will be provided online within 72 hours.
The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division says that this new system was implemented to provide high-tech, convenient, and time-saving services to customers.
