Hult Prize KCM to Host 5KM Race for Gender Equality on International Women’s Day

In an inspiring collaboration with the “We United Project” and “She’s The First Organization of New York, USA,” Hult Prize KCM is gearing up to host a monumental 5km race on March 8th, 2024, commemorating International Women’s Day. Far more than just a race, the 5KM Race 2024 promises to be a jubilant celebration of women’s fortitude, resilience, and solidarity. Set to be one of Nepal’s largest and most impactful events for women, it aims to unite individuals of all genders, ages, and backgrounds to honor the spirit of empowerment and unity. The event will serve as a poignant testament to the strength and potential inherent in every woman.

Scheduled to take place at the Kathmandu College of Management in Gwarko, Lalitpur, the race will commence at 8:00 am, tracing a route from KCM itself and culminating back at the starting point. Notably, participation in this empowering event is completely free, ensuring inclusivity for all.

With “She’s The First Organization” as the title sponsor and “We United” as the media and outreach partner, along with beverage partnership with “Burrst, Dabur” and medical support from “B&B hospital,” the event is poised to make a significant impact, with an expected participation of over 20,000 individuals.

The objectives of the race are multifaceted, aiming to empower and celebrate women by providing a platform for physical fitness, personal accomplishment, and community engagement. Additionally, it seeks to promote a healthy lifestyle, foster unity and strength, raise awareness about women’s issues, and contribute to charitable causes dedicated to women’s education and empowerment.

Open to participants aged 15 and above, registration remains open until March 7th, with door registration also available. Participants will run for a cause, wearing tags identifying who they are running for and carrying messages emphasizing women’s empowerment.
