Neema Education Foundation is organizing an internationally celebrated “Digital Learning Day” here in Nepal on Feb 22, 2022 with main theme “Together for Digital Education”. They have been celebrating Digital Learning Day since 2019 with the goal of providing a powerful platform for educators, developers, digital infrastructure vendors, and innovators.
This year event will be held virtually and will take place from February 22 to February 26, 2022.It will be broadcasted via their social media pages. The event will continue throughout the week with a variety of theme-based activities, material, and engaging initiatives.
Digital learning has become the new normal, with widespread acceptance during the pandemic and long after its effects have subsided. What makes it futuristic and worth the effort is its innate ability to explore digital transformation of the basic education of the young generation. While its core goal is straightforward, it also offers networked learning, 24-hour resources, recorded lectures, and a variety of other features. These characteristics significantly improve students’ quality of life, making digital learning particularly vital to implement in the aftermath of the pandemic.
The majority of schools have implemented online classes using Zoom, Google Hangouts, Slack, and other similar platforms. Online learning approaches have also been implemented by Nepal’s major universities.
Neema argues that we can offer a valuable contribution to basic education through our expertise on digital transformation.
Since 2019, Neema Academy is celebrating this event taking lead since 2019 and for 4th year running. They are observing the scenario and need for digital learning in the case of Nepal.
