Tech Bloggers Association of Nepal to Host Online Blogging Competition to Empower Girls in ICT

In celebration of Girls in ICT Day, the Tech Bloggers Association of Nepal is organizing an online blogging competition aimed at empowering women and girls in the field of information and communication technology (ICT). Titled “Empowering Girls in ICT,” the competition offers participants the opportunity to delve into critical topics related to cybersecurity and digital safety.

Participants can choose from three compelling topics for their blog entries:

  • Data Breach Practices and Readiness in Nepalese Organizations
  • Cybersecurity for Remote Work
  • Cyber Safety for Girls: Empowering Young Women to Navigate the Digital World Safely


This competition is exclusively open to women and girls residing in Nepal. Entrants are required to submit original works, with plagiarism resulting in disqualification. Blogs should range between 600 and 1500 words and may include images or videos, provided they are not copyrighted. Entries must be submitted in PDF or Word document format by April 24, 2024, at 10 p.m.

The top five winners will receive a range of exciting perks, including guaranteed internships in partner companies, a free 30-hour cybersecurity workshop, discounts on courses and web hosting packages, and publication of their articles on blogging partner websites.

Additionally, all participants will receive certificates of participation from the Tech Bloggers Association of Nepal, free blogging training, and complimentary membership in UNICTS Nepal.
