In a significant stride towards fostering technological innovation and nurturing talent, Techfest, the flagship event of IIT Bombay, is set to make its mark in Nepal with the third edition of Technorion in 2023. Renowned as one of Asia’s largest gatherings centered around creativity and innovation, Techfest has evolved over 22 years to redefine the college fest experience.
Technorion Nepal 2023, a regional selection competition exclusively tailored for Nepal, is a collaborative effort between Techfest, IIT Bombay, and the Advanced Robotics Club (ARC) of the Advanced College of Engineering and Management, Nepal. Scheduled for November 30th and December 1st, 2023, at the premises of Advanced College of Engineering and Management, the event promises a platform for coding, mathematics, and electronics enthusiasts to showcase their skills.
ARC, the organizing partner, has curated four major events for Technorion Nepal 2023: Cozmo Clench, Meshmerize, Codecode, and Techfest Olympiad. The top two teams from each event will secure direct entry to the Techfest Grand Finale, scheduled to take place at Techfest, IIT Bombay, from December 27th to 29th, 2023.
Apart from the main events, Technorion Nepal 2023 will feature engaging side attractions, including robot races, interactive workshops, esports competitions, and an opportunity for attendees to showcase their innovative projects. The event also promises a diverse range of food stalls to cater to the gastronomic preferences of the participants.
Techfest, with its primary focus on nurturing creativity and technical skills, has transcended borders and is now reaching more cities through regional competitions like Technorion. This expansion underscores the commitment to inspire youth and innovation beyond the boundaries of the host institution.
