China recently launched an app which detects if people are at the risk of coronavirus. This app allows users to check whether they are at risk or not.
The app, close contact detector tells you if you have been near to person who has or suspected to be with coronavirus.
When you register in-app with a phone number, you need to enter the name and ID number. If you are a registered member, you can check status of a maximum of three ID numbers.
What “close contact” covers?
- People working closely, sharing of classroom etc.
- People who are with close contacts of patients like medical staffs and family members.
- Passangers in plane, trains, public transportation etc.
