B.Ed in ICT in Nepal:
Tribhuvan University, under the faculty of Education is offering an undergraduate program Bachelor of Education in Information Communication Technology (B.Ed ICT) in Nepal. A 3 year semester based package B.Ed ICT is spreading over 9 semester covering a total of 138 credit hours which includes 60 credit hours for specialization major subjects, 30 credit hours for minor subjects, 24 credit hours for educational core courses, 12 credit hours for communication skills courses, and 9 credit hours for teaching in internship.
B.Ed program in ICT Education is a bachelor degree program which is introduced by the aim of making students familiar with the modern education systems and Information Technology along with the use of ICT is focusing on the subjects like Computer Science IT, C/C++ Programming Language, Psychology, Fundamental & Technology in Education, Java Programming Language, Database Management System, Data Communication, and Artificial Intelligence any so on.
Main objective of this education is to prepare our students for high-level studies like Masters’ degree level program in the area of Education, ICT or other related field as per mentioned above. To get admission for Bachelor of Education in Information Communication Technology (B.Ed ICT) students must have be eligible with some condition.
Eligibility for Admission:
Student trying to get admission on Bachelor of Education in Information Communication Technology (B.Ed ICT) must have complete certificate of +2 (HSEB) or equivalent level certificate with a minimum of 45% in aggregate or at least grade D in three subjects in the Advance Level from any Board/University recognized by TU.
Required documents for Admission:
- Photocopy of Character Certificate.
- Photocopy of Secondary Education Examination (SEE) marksheet.
- Photocopy of a +2 (HSEB) transcript or equivalent.
- Certificate of Migration.
- Colour stamp size photographs one copy for the ID Card and two color passport size photographs for campus Records
- Copy of a Citizenship Certificate or Passport only for the foreign students.
Note: Management department decision on Admissions will be final.
