Last Updated on by ICT Byte

The much-anticipated Digital Madhesh Conclave 2025 is set to take place on Wednesday, Baisakh 31 (May 14, 2025) at Hotel Navya in Bardibas, Mahottari. The event is being jointly organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications, and Law of Madhesh Province, ICT Foundation Nepal, and the CAN Federation Madhesh Province.

With the theme “Fostering Digitalization and Development,” the conclave aims to serve as a strategic platform for dialogue and collaboration around digital transformation in Madhesh Province. The day-long event will feature over 30 expert speakers, three keynote addresses, and more than six thematic panel sessions.

Discussion topics will include:

  • Digital Infrastructure Development
  • Digital Education and Literacy
  • Artificial Intelligence and Data Security
  • Startup and Innovation Ecosystems
  • ICT Policy Reforms
  • Digital Governance and Public Service Delivery

Organizers from ICT Foundation Nepal highlighted that the event will also showcase digital initiatives and transformation models tailored to Madhesh’s socio-economic context. Participants are encouraged to register their digital solutions and ideas through the official website: www.madhesh.digital.

The conclave follows the successful Digital Karnali Conclave held earlier this year on Baisakh 9 and 10 in Surkhet, marking a continuing effort to promote regional digital development with active involvement from provincial governments.

With an expected attendance of over 300 participants, including representatives from local governments, ministries, private tech sectors, and civil society, the conclave is anticipated to play a crucial role in shaping ICT-related priorities in the upcoming fiscal year’s policies and budget planning.
