“It is challenging to expand IT companies from Nepal to international markets and to attract quality IT projects from abroad to Nepal. The government needs to provide necessary support to develop the local workforce to meet international standards. Only through coordination with the government and organizations involved in the IT sector can the goal of becoming an IT hub be achieved.”
Similarly, newly elected General Secretary Bhurtel committed to expanding CAN Federation’s scope and adopting concrete strategies for institutional improvements to achieve its goals.
Established in 1992, CAN Federation has been playing a leading role in the development, expansion, and promotion of the information and communication technology sector. After its transformation into a federation in 2015, the organization has expanded its branches across all seven provinces and 74 districts.
