Samsung was doing well with the J series, but they replaced the series with Galaxy A series. According to the company they took what people loved about J and created a better lineup– the new Galaxy A. Today we will be talking about Samsung Galaxy A01. The Galaxy A01was silently launched in the June, 2020 in Nepal. The phone is a budget phone under Rs. 15,000. Let us look at the specifications and features of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy A01 Overview

The phone runs on the Android 10, One UI 2. The phone is powered by an Octa-core (4×1.95 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.45 GHz Cortex A53) processor. Similarly, the phone runs on the Qualcomm SDM439 Snapdragon 439 chipset. The phone has an Adreno 505 GPU and RAM of  2 GB.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy A01 has a dimension 146.2 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm and weighs 149 g. Similarly, it has a 5.7-inch, PLS TFT touchscreen. The phone has a notch for selfie camera on the front. Likewise, it is available in 3 colours: Black, Blue, Red. It has a Glass front with plastic back and a plastic frame.

The rear camera has Dual cameras which include, 13MP wide lens and 2MP Depth sensor. It also has an LED flash on the back.

Similarly, for the front camera, we have a single 5MP selfie camera. The camera works decently however, the pictures are a bit noisy. Likewise, it captures videos in 1080p@30fps.

Similarly, the battery of the phone is 4000 mAh that comes with a 5W charger. The battery will last a day.

The phone has up to 16 GB storage with expandable memory. Moreover, network connectivity options on the phone include Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BDS and micro USB 2.0. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
