The Hult Prize at Khwopa College of Engineering hosted an exciting and skill-building workshop titled “Perfect Pitch” at Hall No. 3. The event, aimed at helping participants develop the essential skills for delivering powerful presentations, was designed to equip them for their journey with the Hult Prize. It focused on teaching how to communicate ideas clearly and inspire an audience, which is crucial for any aspiring entrepreneur.
With 65 participants from various semesters and departments of Khwopa College, the event quickly set an energetic and positive tone. The emcees kicked off the session with a warm welcome, getting everyone in the mood for a dynamic and interactive workshop.
A standout highlight of the event was the presence of Aziz Shrestha, the Executive Director of SR Group, who served as one of the distinguished speakers. With years of experience in sales, marketing, and professional development, Aziz is known for his ability to craft compelling presentations and lead successful strategic initiatives. His leadership and expertise in driving innovation made him the perfect mentor for the workshop. Aziz’s participation was facilitated by CECAB Nepal, who played an essential role in making this event such a valuable experience.
Aziz started the session with an inspiring introduction that set the stage for a deep dive into the art of pitching. Throughout the workshop, he shared actionable tips on how to create narratives that resonate emotionally, present ideas with clarity, and most importantly, pitch with confidence. His approach emphasized creativity and strategic thinking, inspiring participants to transform their ideas into powerful presentations.
One of the key takeaways was the importance of storytelling in a pitch. Aziz showcased real-life examples to highlight how effective storytelling can capture an audience’s attention. The participants were then guided through various activities designed to help them refine their pitching techniques, improve their delivery, and better connect with their target audience.
What truly set this workshop apart was the high level of interaction. It wasn’t just a typical lecture-style event. The atmosphere was electric, with attendees engaging actively, asking questions, and offering insights. Aziz went beyond simply explaining concepts—he demonstrated what a solid pitch looks like in real-time, integrating his own product into the demonstration. This hands-on approach made his advice even more practical and relatable, showing exactly how a compelling pitch can leave a lasting impression.
At the close of the event, the Hult Prize team expressed their heartfelt thanks to CECAB Nepal for their support in bringing such an experienced mentor to the workshop. The collaboration proved instrumental in making the event a great success and demonstrated the power of teamwork in fostering entrepreneurial growth.
