Missed call alert is a service provided by NTC which informs the customer about the calls which are missed. The calls are missed due to:
- Busy in another call
- The phone is switched off
- Unreachable network
There are various methods to activate and deactivate MCA services. Below are the methods to activate and deactivate the service:
Methods to activate NTC missed call alert (MCA) service
# Using USSD code
Call *1400# after that you will see three options:
- 1 Number- Subscribe to MCA
- 2 Number- Unsubscribe to MCA
- 3 Number- Query MCA status
Type the suitable number and then press the Call button in order to activate the service.
#Using SMS
To Subscribe:
Type ‘sub mca’ and then send it to 1400
To Unsubscribe:
Type ‘unsub mca’ and then send it to 1400
To Check Status:
Type ‘status’ and then send it to 1400
#Using App
- Download the NTC app
- Register then go to VAS menu option
- After that you can Subscribe, Unsubscribe or Check Status of missed call alert service
NTC App is available in Google Play Store as well as Apple App Store.
How does missed call alert (MCA) service work?
If you missed a call then you will receive a message in your Phone from ‘Missed Call’
SMS format: you have a missed call from {number} at {date} {time}.
Is it free to activate?
Yes, it is a free service. Before its price was Nrs 6 per month.
Is it available while roaming?
Yes, also available while roaming
Do we need to renew it?
No, the service is auto renewed
