How to hide apps on your iPhone?

You have downloaded an app on your iPhone which you do not want your friends or anyone to see then what will you do? Oh, and you should know that there is no hide option available on iPhones. So how can you hide apps? Take a chill pill because in this article we have provided you the methods to hide apps on iPhone. As the apple phone doesn’t have a hide option the methods below cannot totally hide the apps but can somehow keep away from the viewer’s vision. But if the person goes thoroughly and checks properly these methods are going to fail.  

How to hide apps on your iPhone?

#Method 1- Put apps in folder

This method will not make the app completely hidden but the person who is using your phone might not notice the apps inside a folder.

Steps:

1. Tap the app you want to hide and hold until it starts shaking
2. Then holding that app move it towards a folder or above another app which you want to keep in a folder
3. After that release the hold the app will remain in that folder

#Method 2- Apps in different page

This method will also not make the apps disappear but the person using your phone might not notice if you keep the apps in the third or fourth pages of your phone. A home screen can have up to 9 apps but also to create a new page the first page might or might not be full.

1. Tap the app you want to hide and hold until it starts shaking
2. Then holding that app move it towards the different page
3. After that release, the hold the app will remain on that page.

Note: here the first page refers to the home screen and the other pages refer to the screens which are on the right side of the phone.

How to hide apps from the search option of the iPhone?

So, you may be able to deceive by using these methods but what if the person uses the app search option?

We have also provided a solution below for that. These steps should be done for each apps.

Steps:

1. Go to setting
2. Tap Siri & Search
3. Scroll to the apps list
4. Then find the app you want to hide
5. Tap the app and turn off Siri & suggestion option
6. Turn off the ‘Show app’ option

How to hide apps from the Apple App Store?

Steps:

1. Open the App Store app on your phone and then tap Today at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap the account button located at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Purchased 
4. Find the app that you want, then swipe left on it and then tap Hide
5. Tap Done

To unhide go to your account in settings Scroll down and tap Hidden Purchases and then find the app that you want to unhide, then tap the download button.

If you are not satisfied with above methods then the only option left is to delete the app.
