Sanima Bank has Introduced Digital Counter

With banking services already resuming in the midst of this global pandemic, it is not entirely safe even if the lockdown has been lifted in most parts of Nepal. So, with the current situation in mind, Sanima Bank has introduced Digital Counter. They introduced this service with a view to reduce contacts and maintain social distancing.

What is Sanima Bank Digital Counter?

The Digital counter is a digital service provided by Sanima bank for withdrawing money from the bank. According to this service, customers who have Sanima Sajilo e-banking can withdraw money without presenting the cheque at the counter. Sanima Sajilo e-banking is the mobile banking service of Sanima Bank.

How to use this Sanima Bank Digital Counter Service?

To use this service, you have to log in to your Sanima Sajilo e-banking. After that, you can use the QR scanner to withdraw the cash from the bank. Therefore, you do not need to present any cheque at the counter. As a result, it decreases the physical contact between the customers and the employees of the bank. The QR code is placed in front of the digital counter in the bank.

Note: This service is currently available only at the head office located in Naxal, Kathmandu.

Sanima Bank has plans to install this counter in other branches as well in the near future. Also, they have plans to add other features to this digital counter.

This is a great initiative by Sanima Bank to provide its services effectively keeping in mind the safety of customers and the employees. This is a difficult time for all of us and it is really thoughtful of Sanima Bank to think of this. This method of the digital counter is a great idea for other banks to follow too as the pandemic might continue for a long time.

Let us all use this service and take care of the health of both us and the employees.
