Google I/O Extended is the community led counterpart to Google I/O, this is Google led conference where the world hears about Google’s latest developer solutions, products, and technology.

The Google I/O Extended Kathmandu 2024 was a free conference which was aimed at developers, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts. It provided an opportunity to learn about the latest Google technologies and to network with other developers.

The conference took place at St. Xavier’s College on July 27, 2024 in Kathmandu where St. Xavier College was the Collaborating partner, and the event was supported by Machhapuchhre Bank. 

The conference included different tracks focusing on AI, Cloud, Career, Web Development, Cybersecurity and Flutter. It featured technical sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions about career and future technologies.

250+ attendees attended the conference including 50+ females. There were 11 speakers who delivered sessions on various topics. The event concluded with a panel discussion titled “What does the future of AI hold for us?” featuring three panelists and one moderator.

The overall event was fruitful for tech-enthusiastic where all attendees had the opportunity to take sessions from National & International Industry Professionals, Google developer experts and other Tech Experts.
