Dinesh Pandit Takes Charge to Make Chitwan a Cyber Security Research Hub, elected as CSRI Chitwan President

In a groundbreaking event held at Orchid Science College premises today, Mr. Dinesh Pandit was elected as the President of the Chitwan Chapter of the Center for Cyber Security Research and Innovation (CSRI). The inauguration ceremony marked the formation of a dynamic executive committee geared towards driving innovative initiatives in the region.

The newly appointed executive committee comprises:

President: Dinesh Pandit
Vice President: Nabin Shrestha
Secretary: Manju Ghale
Treasurer: Bikal Baral
Members: Yesis Khanal, Mini Madhav Khanal, Sudip Thapaliya
Additionally, the committee has enlisted the expertise of academic specialist Mr. Khem Acharya to contribute to research and innovation, and Social Activist/Senior Journalist Mr. Krishna Khanal as an Advisor.

The establishment of the Chitwan Chapter was spearheaded by Mr. Chiranjibi Adhikari, the Founder President of CSRI. Speaking at the event, Mr. Adhikari expressed his excitement for this significant development and underscored the importance of cultivating an information and communication technology (ICT) research environment in Chitwan.

Mr. Dinesh Pandit, the newly elected President, shared the chapter’s vision for the future. He unveiled plans to transform Chitwan into a research hub, nurturing sustainable ICT businesses in Bharatpur. Stressing the significance of collaborative endeavors, Pandit envisions the Chitwan Chapter as a catalyst for innovative initiatives in the realms of cyber security and technology.

“I am honored to lead this esteemed chapter and am committed to making Chitwan a hub for cutting-edge research in ICT. Our goal is to contribute significantly to the growth of the technology sector in this region,” President Pandit declared during his inaugural address.

The CSRI Chitwan Chapter aspires to create an environment conducive to research, innovation, and knowledge exchange in the fields of cyber security and information technology. With the unwavering support of its dedicated leadership and members, the chapter aims to elevate Chitwan’s status as a prominent player in the rapidly evolving landscape of ICT research and development.
