Lava is a known brand in the Nepali market but not as famous as it used to be. The company does have some budget-friendly phone available in the market right now. However, the brand is mostly overlooked by the options provided by trusted smartphone brands. Moving on, lava has been improving in the quality of its phones in the recent launches and today will talk about Lava Z61 Pro. The Z61 Pro is a new member of the Z series.

For being a budget phone, it does have some decent features and specifications. Let us loo at them and also the expected price in Nepal.

Lava Z61 Pro Overview

The mobile phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). The phone is powered by octa-core 1.6 GHz processor. However, the chipset and the GPU has not been mentioned by the company. It does have a RAM of 2 GB.

Design and Display

The phone has a dimension 147 x 71.8 x 9.2  mm and weighs 160 g. Similarly, it has a 5.45-inch TFT LCD capacitive touchscreen. The front of the phone is made up of glass and the black is made up of plastic with plastic frame. It has a chin and forehead which means it is not a bezel-less phone. Moreover, the phone has a simple yet stylish design.

Camera

On the back, we have a single camera of 8 MP. There is also a LED flash on the back. On the front, we have a single 5MP camera with a screen flash.

Battery

Similarly, the battery of the phone is a 3100 mAh that comes with 5 W charger. The battery will last more than a day. The phone will take 3Hr 30 min to fully charge.

The phone has up to 16 GB storage with expandable memory. Moreover, network connectivity options on the phone include Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS and a micro USB 2.0 type C. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Color

The Lava Z 61 Pro is available in only 2 color, Midnight Blue and Amber Red. The colors are pretty good. they have this red to black or blue to black gradient which is a nice color combo.

Lava Z61 Pro Price in Nepal and Availability

The phone was launched in July of 2020 in India in the price tag of Rs 5,777. It is said to soon arrive in Nepal but there aren’t and official reports on it. If the phone come in Nepal the price will be around Rs 9,500.
