The tablets are powered by Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 chip and an Octa-core (4×2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver). The tablets run on the Android 10, One UI 2.1. Likewise, the tab has Adreno 610 GPU and 3 GB RAM.

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 have a single camera of 8 MP with no LED flash on the back. Similarly, on the front, the tablets have a 5 MP normal camera. Both the front and the back camera captures 1080p@30fps videos.
