On Ashoj 25 2080, Transport Minister Prakash Jwala, inaugurated the service of Online Driving License Revenue Payment System in Nepal at the Transport Management Office Ekantakuna.
Minister Jwala said that with the introduction of an Online Driving License Revenue Payment System in Nepal , the situation of having to queue at the customer office will be reduced. “This is the beginning. We started with enthusiasm. It is to make it reliable and easy,” he said while speaking at the program, it is to reduce queues at the traffic management department and offices. The trial giving service is also to be made lineless. Biometrics will also be done online.
Is Online Driving License Revenue Payment System applicable all over Nepal?
- It is planned to implement this service in the first phase of the traffic management office in Ekantakuna.
- In the second phase it will be implemented in the traffic management offices of the valley.
- In the third phase (after Dashain ) it will be implemented all over the country.
The Department of Transportation Management is preparing to collaborate with payment service providers.
