Problems
It is not easy to launch ride-sharing apps because the local public driver’s income is affected due to these apps. So, local drivers are always against these apps and due to which there is always conflict in this matter. Drivers who are employed in these apps mainly use private number plates to give service as a result government also takes action against them frequently.
It is not that people are always satisfied with these apps because the rates get fluctuated various things like the hike in petrol/diesel or high service charge.
Although there are problems with ride-sharing apps, this is a good step for Nepal in the digital world. Due to this people will get employment, get familiar with various digital wallets and GPS tracking systems. So,it has its problems and advantages.
