To download Apps, the permission of Nepal Government is needed!

Development and Technology Committee of Federal Parliament of Nepal orders to place a restriction on social media and apps.

The comittee orders Communication and Technology Ministry to manage the system to downlaod the app after the approval from government.

In the order issued by the committee, it is stated. For the apps and social media platforms that are used in Nepal, after only the authority verifies for security, privacy and usability, they can be used and downloaded.

Similarly, a website audit of IT Service Provider and government websites need to be done.
Also, the committee instructs for the .np registration through governmental bodies. Up to now, .np domain is being provided by the private company of Nepal.
