Slingshot 2020

Slingshot is back again for a fourth year as Slingshot 2020. It is a startup competition in which you get the opportunity to showcase innovative solutions and products to major investors and industry leaders.

This year’s challenge also includes Creating the new Normal along with five other sectors. Creating the New Normal is a challenge to create solutions for businesses and society to adapt to the post-COVID world.

The other 5 sectors for Slingshot 2020 are:

• Digital Solutions, Consumer Products & Services
• Health-Tech, BioTech & MedTech
• Manufacturing, Logistics & Transportation
• FoodTech & AgriTech
• Urban Solutions, Sustainability & Energy

Among all the applicants, too 500 startups will be shortlisted. And, the shortlisted startups will have the opportunity to participate in co-innovation opportunities with corporates via their co-innovation platform.

The top 100 Global Startups will get a chance to pitch to a global audience at SLINGSHOT 2020’s Virtual Finals in December as a part of the SFF x SWITCH 2020 (Singapore FinTech Festival x Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology). They will compete for cash and grant prizes worth up to S$800,000.
