OnePlus entered the smartwatch world in March 2021, with its affordable Nord sub-brand also shipping today. The OnePlus Nord Watch is a smartwatch with a big bright screen, sports tracking, and up to 30 days of battery life.
The Nord Watch features a 1.78-inch rectangular AMOLED screen with a resolution of 368 x 448 pixels and a refresh rate of 60Hz.
The watch does not have its own GPS. This means you can only get your location from your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.2. OnePlus designed this watch as a unisex wearable to help women track their monthly menstrual cycle. Equipped with a heart rate sensor, and SpO2 monitor, and supports sleep tracking. Thanks to the accelerometer, it can automatically recognize your training activity and keeps 105 different workouts. It’s also IP68-rated for complete dust and water protection. The watch case is made of zinc alloy and plastic, and the strap is silicone. The battery capacity is 230mAh. According to OnePlus, it can be charged in low power mode for a month, and active use lasts 10 days.
The OnePlus Nord Watch is currently available in Midnight Black for an introductory price of INR 4,999 ($60). The regular price is said to be INR 6,999 ($85), but when that will be is unknown. A Deep Blue version is also in the works, but no release date has been set.
