Nabil bank has recently launched the Scan and Withdraw Service. In this service, customers can simply scan the QR code and then withdraw money from their accounts. Nabil Bank took this initiative as a precaution to the Covid-19 pandemic that has been affecting the country for more than four months now. This service has not only helped take care of ourself during this pandemic, but it has also made the withdrawal process faster and easier.
How to use Scan and Withdraw Service?
Once you go to the bank, log in to your Nabin SmartBank App and open the QR scanner. Then, you can scan the QR code that are placed in the bank branches. After that, you can withdraw money from your account without having to withdraw with a cheque.
Note: You can only withdraw up to NPR100,000 per day, and up to NPR 1,000,000 per month. Also, the Scan and Withdraw service is currently available in branches of Kathmandu valley only. However, they have said that they will bring this service to branches of other places very soon as well.
This is a very important service. It reduces the physical contact between the employees and the customers. Hence, reducing the chances of Corona infection. Also, the transaction process or service becomes faster than before.
Regarding the service, Mr, Anil Keshary Shah, CEO of Nabil bank said, “In this trying time, encashing cheque or any form of physical contact poses health risks. With Scan and Withdraw, we want to make sure that physical contact of customers with Bank teller is less and cash withdrawal request processing is quick.”
With the introduction of such useful features, Nabil Bank has set an example for other banks to follow as well. This will make it possible for people as well as banks to cope with the pandemic situation. It will help reduce the fear of many people visiting banks for other services.
