Google Chrome to End Support for Older Versions on January 15: Is Your System Affected?

Google will release its Chrome 110 on February 7, 2023 and end support for older versions of Chrome on January 15, 2023.

This means that Chrome 110 will be the first version of Chrome that requires Windows 10 or a later version to run. Older versions of Chrome will continue to work on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, but they will no longer receive updates, including security fixes.

Users are advised to upgrade their systems to Windows 10 or 11 to continue using Chrome and receive future updates. The release of Chrome 110 was originally planned for July 2021, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

Why you should update your Chrome?

Updating Chrome with the latest version of Windows brings the latest security updates and can improve performance.
