At first, you can free up memory and help your iPhone’s performance by clearing safari’s cache. Here’s how you can do this:
Step 1: Open settings and scroll down and you’ll find Clear History and Website Data tap on it
Step 2: And then tap on the Clear History and Data.
Step 3: Next go to the Settings>Safari. In the Safari settings menu, scroll down to the bottom and tap on the Advanced>Website Data.
Step 4: Finally, tap on the Remove All Website Data and then remove now.
Now clear your Safari cache on your iPhone.
However, do keep in mind that deleting the data from Safari will result in the deletion of website data, browsing history, and website cookies. Thus, if you don’t want them gone, you may consider deleting the cache for third-party apps instead.
How to clear your cache on an iPhone using Third-party apps
You can also clear your cache on an iPhone using other third-party apps. Essentially, this involves either deleting an app outright or deleting an app to clear its data then reinstall it again. Either way, here’s what you have to do:
Step 1: Open settings>General>iPhone Storage.
Step 2: In iPhone storage, you’ll see a list of your apps, with the ones holding the most data at the top, and tap on one that you want to clear.
Step 3: Next, tap on the Delete App. then again tap on the Delete App to confirm.
Step 4: Later on, if you want to reinstall the app, go to the App Store, and reinstall it.
