On the occasion of International Day of the Girl 2020, Women Lead has planned to organize a virtual webinar. The topic of this event is “लैंगिक हिंसाको अन्त्य: हाम्रो कानून कतिको पर्याप्त?” (End of Gender-based Violence: The Adequacy of Our Laws).

As we know that the number of cases of online/ sexual harassment, rapes, and acid attacks is rising. So, Women Lead planned to organize this event in order to inform young girls and women on the theme of gender-based violence. This event will be led by the 2020 fellows of Young Women’s Political Leadership Institute.

Sessions on International Day of the Girl 2020 Webinar

The event will have two sessions.

• Session I: Digital Accountability and Hygiene with Body and Data
• Session II: A panel discussion on “Are laws alone an effective deterrent for Gender-Based Violence?”

NOTE: Young girls and women between the ages 15-25 can apply. Hurry up! Limited seats are available.
