Details on DishHome Internet Service

According to DishHome, they have started service in three places in the beginning phase. The service is currently available in Bhaisepati area, Tinkune-Baneshwor area, and Kapan-Boudha area. Sudip Acharya, the managing director of DishHome said, “We have already started internet services in Bhaisepati area, Tinkune-Baneshwor area, and Kapan-Boudha area”. He added, “We are providing the service in Bhaisepati and Kapan area by installing our own fiber. However, in the Tinkune-Baneshwor area, we have started providing internet service by collaborating with the main company of Space Times Network “.

The company has aimed to reach up to 12,000 internet service customers within the next month. Also, according to Acharya, the company has been working with a goal to provide its service in the valley outside the ring-road within this year. He continues, “Our first goal is to provide service outside ring-road and then enter inside ring-road. We have plans to install this service in a huge amount while entering ring-road. Hoping that installing the service first outside ring-road will make it easier for us, we made this type of plan.”

The company is also planning to introduce the satellite internet system as an alternative. It is difficult to distribute and install fibers in rural villages. So, DishHome has planned to provide intenet service through the satellite in such areas.

According to Acharya, since satellite internet is a new technology, they have to get the products from foreign countries. But, due to the current pandemic, it is not possible to deliver the products to Nepal. Therefore, they are currently providing internet through fiber. He also said, “We are hoping to be able to start the work of Satellite internet soon.”
